Who it fits

Key specs explained for this sofa

Configuration: Convertible Modular

This design allows you to rearrange the backrests and armrests to suit your needs. You can switch between a standard sofa, a wide sleeper bed, or a lounge chair. This flexibility helps you adapt the furniture for game nights, movie marathons, or overnight guests without buying multiple pieces.

Overall Width: 79 inches

At 79 inches wide, this unit offers a substantial seating area. It fits comfortably in living rooms or dorms while providing ample space for three people. Compare this width to standard three-seater sofas, which often range from 80 to 90 inches, to ensure it fits your room layout.

Upholstery Material: Corduroy

Corduroy fabric features fine stripes that resist spills, pet claws, and daily wear. The material is soft yet durable, making it practical for high-traffic areas. You can clean it easily with mild soap and air drying, maintaining its plush look without complex care routines or special treatments.

Assembly Method: No assembly

You can unbox and use this sofa immediately without tools or setup time. The design eliminates the hassle of assembling frames or attaching legs. This convenience is ideal for renters or those who prefer a streamlined process, allowing you to expand it for 72 hours before full use.

Boneless design and steel frame

The listing describes a boneless design with a reinforced steel frame and high-density sponge. This construction supports three seats in sofa mode, measuring 79 inches wide by 35.5 inches long and 26.7 inches high. The unit weighs 66 pounds. The corduroy upholstery is black, though other colors are available. This fabric resists spills and pet claws, and it cleans easily with mild soap. You can arrange the removable armrests and backrest to create different layouts. The base includes non-slip cushions to keep the sofa steady on hardwood, tile, or carpet.

In bed mode, the sofa expands to 79 inches wide by 70 inches long. This oversized sleeper function provides a spacious surface for guests. The backrest is angled to relieve back strain, and it includes two supportive pillows for waist alignment. According to the listing, the sleeper surface uses mattress-grade pocket springs. These individually wrapped springs distribute weight evenly and reduce pressure points. This system helps maintain lasting support without feeling flat over time. The design allows you to switch between a 3-seat sofa, an oversized sleeper bed, a lounge recliner, a game chair, or a custom sectional.

You do not need to assemble the unit. It arrives ready to use, though you should let it expand for 72 hours after unboxing. The non-slip base stays in place during use. For wrinkle care, you can hold a steam iron 3 inches above the fabric without direct contact. This boneless couch fits well in living rooms, dorms, and game rooms. Its flexible layout and durable materials make it suitable for daily sitting, lounging, and sleeping.

Setup and everyday use guide

You do not need tools or instructions to set up this SAVENICA unit. The listing states there is no assembly required. You simply unbox the sofa and let it expand for 72 hours before using it. This waiting period allows the high-density sponge and pocket springs to fully recover their shape. The reinforced steel frame provides a stable base that grips hardwood, tile, or carpet flooring without slipping. This non-slip feature keeps the couch in place during daily movement.

In sofa mode, the unit measures 79 inches wide by 35.5 inches long and 26.7 inches high. It seats three people comfortably. The angled backrest and included pillows support your waist and reduce strain. If you need more space, you can rearrange the modular components. Removing the armrests and flattening the backrest creates a 79-inch by 70-inch sleeper bed. This configuration offers a spacious surface for guests.

The corduroy upholstery is designed for practical daily use. The fine-striped fabric resists spills, pet claws, and general wear. Cleaning is straightforward. You can dab stains with mild soap and let the fabric air dry. For wrinkles, hold a steam iron three inches above the material. Do not let the iron touch the fabric directly. This care method maintains the plush look without damaging the material. The individually wrapped pocket springs distribute weight evenly, ensuring consistent support whether you are sitting, lounging, or sleeping.

Before you buy this futon

You should consider what else fits in your room. This unit weighs 66 pounds and measures 79 inches wide. Ensure your floor can support the load, especially on tile or hardwood. The non-slip base helps, but heavy traffic may shift it. Check your doorways and hallways. You must move it to get it inside. No assembly is needed, but you must wait 72 hours for expansion. Upholstery is corduroy. Clean spills with mild soap and air dry. Use a steam iron from three inches away. Do not touch the fabric directly. Compare this boneless style to fixed sectional sofas. This option suits renters or those who change layouts often. Fixed sections offer more stability but less flexibility. Choose based on your need for reconfiguration versus permanent seating structure.

Check before you buy

• Measure doorways to ensure the 79-inch unit fits inside.
• Verify floor type supports the 66-pound weight and non-slip base.
• Plan for a 72-hour expansion period after unboxing.
• Check if corduroy fabric matches your existing decor palette.
