Who it fits

Key specs explained for MellowCove

Configuration: Modular, L-Shaped

This configuration allows you to arrange the sofa in an L-shape, which is ideal for corner placement in living rooms. The modular design means you can move individual pieces to fit your layout. If you have a dynamic home or need to rearrange furniture often, this flexibility is useful. It offers more seating than a standard loveseat without taking up the entire floor space.

Overall Width: 96 inches

A width of 96 inches provides substantial seating for multiple people. You should measure your room carefully to ensure this length fits comfortably. This size is suitable for larger apartments or open-plan areas where you want a statement piece. Compare this dimension with other sectionals to ensure it does not overwhelm smaller rooms or block walkways in your specific layout.

Assembly Method: No tools required

You can set up this sectional without needing any additional hardware or tools. The pieces are designed to connect easily, which saves time and effort. This is helpful if you live in an apartment with narrow hallways or stairs, as the modular pieces are lighter and easier to maneuver. It simplifies the setup process significantly compared to complex furniture that requires professional assembly.

Upholstery Material: Corduroy

Corduroy upholstery offers a soft, textured feel that is gentle on the skin. This material is often durable and can withstand daily use, making it suitable for families with children or pets. It provides a cozy aesthetic that complements modern or casual decor styles. When shopping, consider how corduroy compares to smoother fabrics like leather or microfiber in terms of maintenance and comfort.

Design and build specs

The listing describes this sectional as a boneless, cloud-style piece. According to the listing, it uses full foam support without a rigid frame. This construction creates a relaxed, sinking feel. The upholstery is corduroy fabric. The fabric is described as soft, stain-resistant, and easy to clean. These traits make it suitable for homes with children or pets. The color option listed is True Black. This dark finish helps mask minor stains between cleanings.

The overall width is 96 inches. The height is 38.8 inches, and the length is 60 inches. The total weight is 138 pounds. This weight makes the modular pieces manageable for one person to move. The L-shaped layout includes a left-facing chaise. This configuration fits well in corners or open-plan areas. It maximizes seating without taking up excessive floor space. You can rearrange the modules to suit different room shapes.

Assembly requires no tools. The pieces ship in compact packaging. Once you remove the foam from the box, it expands to its final size. You cannot repack the foam for return shipping. This means you must measure your space carefully before ordering. The design is built for flexible living. You can shift the sections as your needs change. The low profile and soft materials define the visual style.

Before buying this boneless sectional
