- No assembly required; ships compressed and expands over up to 7 days.
- Non-removable main cover resists stretch, while throw pillows have zip-off, machine-washable covers.

Who it fits
Good fit for
This sofa suits renters or apartment dwellers who need flexible furniture. The no-assembly design helps those who move frequently or lack tools. The convertible function makes it ideal for small spaces where guests sleep over. You will appreciate the durable corduroy if you want a textured look that holds up well. The freestanding nature means you can place it anywhere without anchoring it to a wall.
Who should skip it
Skip this model if you need a permanent, fixed configuration. The expansion process takes up to 7 days to reach full comfort, which may not suit urgent needs. If you prefer a traditional sofa with a separate, removable cover for deep cleaning, the non-removable main cover here may be less convenient. You might also look elsewhere if you require a bed that expands instantly without waiting for foam to fluff up after unboxing.
Verdict: This convertible sofa offers a practical solution for small spaces with its easy setup and dual functionality. It is best for those who value flexibility and durable, textured upholstery over instant readiness.
Key specs explained for LOOMORA
Overall Width: 78.7 inches
This measurement defines the seating footprint. At 78.7 inches, the sofa accommodates three people side-by-side without excessive crowding. You get ample elbow room for watching movies or reading. When comparing sectional sofas, check if the width allows your chosen room layout. This size fits well in standard living rooms, offering a balanced presence without dominating the space.
Sleeper Function: Folding sofa bed
The listing states it converts into a 78.7-inch by 78.7-inch king-size bed. This mechanism allows you to host guests comfortably without a separate mattress. The folding design saves floor space when used as a couch. You benefit from versatility in small apartments. Compare this to traditional sleeper sofas that may require complex mechanisms or extra storage for the bed frame.
Assembly Method: No assembly needed
The sofa ships compressed in a vacuum-sealed bag. You simply unbox and unroll it to begin use. This saves you time and eliminates the frustration of putting together parts. It also reduces the risk of error during setup. When shopping for sectional sofas, this feature is ideal for those who want immediate comfort. Note that full expansion may take up to seven days for optimal fluffiness.
Upholstery Material: Corduroy
Corduroy offers a textured, durable surface that resists stretching and sagging. The non-removable main cover maintains its shape over time. Throw pillows include zip-off, machine-washable covers for easy cleaning. This material choice suits households seeking low-maintenance furniture. Compare this to delicate fabrics that require professional cleaning. Corduroy provides a cozy aesthetic while standing up to daily wear and tear.
Design and build details
The LOOMORA sofa uses corduroy upholstery for its main structure. According to the listing, this durable fabric retains its shape and resists stretching or sagging over time. The cover is non-removable, which simplifies maintenance for the base. However, you can remove and machine-wash the three included throw pillows. This mix offers a balance of long-term stability for the frame and easy cleaning for soft accessories. The grey finish provides a neutral look that fits various room styles. You can also find this model in black if you prefer a darker tone.
The overall dimensions are 78.7 inches wide, 33.5 inches high, and 27.6 inches deep. This layout supports three people comfortably in seating mode. The design is freestanding and does not require a wall for support. This wall-free freedom allows you to place the sofa in the middle of a room or in a corner. The two movable armrests have no fixed connectors, giving you flexibility in how you arrange the seating area. You can shift them to create a more open feel or keep them in place for defined arm support.
No assembly is needed. The unit ships compressed in a vacuum-sealed bag. You simply unbox and unroll it. The foam needs time to expand to its full height and comfort level. You may need to pat it lightly to help the process, but you should allow up to seven days for it to fully fluff up. This setup method saves you time and effort when getting started.
Setup and everyday use
Setup requires no tools or hardware. The sofa arrives compressed in a vacuum-sealed bag. You unbox and unroll the unit on a flat surface. A few light pats help start the expansion process. You must then allow up to seven days for the foam to fully fluff. During this time, the product returns to its original dimensions of 78.7 inches by 33.5 inches. The listing notes that magic-tape connectors secure the bed frame. This allows one person to convert the sofa into a bed in 30 seconds. The base is non-slip, which keeps the structure stable during conversion.
Daily use centers on the convertible function. The three-seat layout accommodates three people comfortably. You can use it for reading, gaming, or watching television. The movable armrests have no fixed connectors. You can reposition them to suit your preference. The sofa does not require a wall for support. It is a freestanding unit. High-resilience foam provides ergonomic support. This material resists sagging and cradles your spine.
When you need a bed, the sofa expands to 78.7 inches by 78.7 inches. This creates a king-size sleeping surface. The listing states it comfortably sleeps two people. The main cover is non-removable. It retains its shape and resists stretching. Throw pillows feature zip-off covers. You can machine-wash these covers for easy cleaning. The corduroy upholstery offers a durable texture for everyday use.
Before you buy this sofa
This LOOMORA model is a standalone piece, not a sectional component. It does not interlock with other units. You need to ensure your room has enough floor space for the 78.7-inch width and the full 78.7-inch bed extension. Check your doorways and hallways. The vacuum-sealed packaging means you must have a clear path to your living area. Upkeep involves machine-washing the throw pillow covers. The main corduroy cover is non-removable, so spot cleaning is necessary for spills. The foam needs seven days to fully expand. Compare this freestanding option to modular sectionals if you need flexible configurations. This unit suits guests or small spaces where a single large piece is preferred over multiple chairs. Verify your wall clearance, as it stands independently but benefits from space around it for easy access to the sleeper function.
