Linsy HOME vs Novilla Comparison
Seating capacity
The Linsy HOME sectional is configured as a 3-seat couch, offering a more compact footprint for smaller rooms or couples. In contrast, the Novilla model supports five seats, providing significantly more capacity for families or entertaining guests. If you need extra seating without expanding the room's footprint, the Novilla’s 5-seater design is the practical choice. The Linsy HOME’s 3-seat layout suits those who prioritize a minimalist arrangement or have limited floor space. Both are modular, but the Novilla offers more people-friendly capacity in its standard configuration.
Overall width
Width is critical for fitting the sofa into your living area. The Linsy HOME measures 124 inches wide, making it a substantial piece that requires a larger wall space. The Novilla is narrower at 104 inches wide, allowing it to fit into tighter apartments or rooms with narrower layouts. If your room dimensions are restrictive, the Novilla’s compact width is a clear advantage. The Linsy HOME’s wider span offers a broader seating surface but demands more floor area. Measure your space carefully, as the 20-inch difference in width is significant for placement.
Upholstery material
Fabric choice affects both feel and maintenance. The Linsy HOME uses corduroy, which provides a breathable, soft texture with a rich, elegant look that adds a touch of luxury to your decor. The Novilla features chenille fabric, known for its velvety softness and resistance to pilling and pet hair. Chenille is also easy to clean with a damp cloth. If you prefer a structured, textured look, choose Linsy HOME. If you want a smoother, pet-friendly surface that is easy to maintain, Novilla’s chenille is the better option.
Support system
Comfort beneath the cushions varies between the two. The Linsy HOME uses a double-layer seat cushion combining high-density cotton, sponge, and pocket springs for plush support. The Novilla incorporates SmartS Coil pocket springs that independently adapt to weight and movement, preventing excessive sinking. The Novilla’s coil system offers responsive support that helps you get up more easily. The Linsy HOME focuses on cloud-like softness with its layered foam and springs. If you need sturdy support to avoid sinking too deep, the Novilla’s coil design is superior.
Assembly method
Setup effort differs significantly. The Novilla arrives in compressed parcels that expand on their own, requiring no screws or tools, which allows for instant relaxation. The Linsy HOME does not specify a no-assembly method, implying standard setup may be needed. If you want to avoid confusing instructions and heavy lifting, the Novilla’s roll-out design is a major convenience. It fits through narrow doorways and tight staircases easily. The Linsy HOME’s modular nature allows flexible placement, but the Novilla’s zero-tool setup saves time and frustration during installation.
Which sectional fits your space
Large families needing extra seats
The Novilla offers five seats, accommodating more people than the three-seat Linsy HOME. Its modular L-shape configuration creates a spacious layout for gatherings. The chenille fabric resists pet hair and pilling, making it practical for busy households with children or pets who frequently use the couch.
Users wanting deep plush seating
The Linsy HOME features a 24.5-inch seat depth, providing ample room to stretch out. Its double-layer cushion combines high-density cotton, sponge, and pocket springs for a cloud-like feel. The pillow-style armrests allow for full-body leaning, making it ideal for those who prioritize soft, enveloping comfort over firm support.
Renters moving frequently
The Novilla weighs only 50.7 pounds and requires no assembly, arriving in compressed parcels that expand on their own. This lightweight design fits through narrow doorways and tight staircases, allowing you to reconfigure the layout in minutes without tools or instructions, which is perfect for renters who move often.
