Who it fits

Key specs explained for you

Width: 173 inches

This width defines the total linear space the sofa occupies along your wall. At 173 inches, this is a large sectional that requires a spacious living room or open-plan area. You must measure your room carefully to ensure it fits without blocking pathways. Compare this dimension with smaller L-shaped sections if your space is tighter, as this unit demands significant floor area for proper placement and airflow.

Height: 34.6 inches

This measurement indicates the vertical profile of the backrest and frame. A height of 34.6 inches offers substantial back support for most adults, preventing slouching during long sitting periods. It also suggests a substantial visual presence in your room. When comparing sectionals, consider if you prefer a lower, more modern profile or this higher, more enveloping structure for maximum comfort and support.

Seat depth: 24.5 inches

This deep seat allows you to sit upright with legs extended or lie down fully stretched out. It accommodates larger body types and provides room for pillows. Standard sofas often have shallower seats, so this depth is ideal for lounging. Check this spec if you plan to nap on your sofa, as a shallower seat may force your legs to hang off the edge, reducing overall comfort and relaxation.

Weight: 100 pounds

This weight reflects the mass of the main sofa unit, indicating sturdy construction and stability. A 100-pound unit will not shift easily when you sit or move, ensuring consistent positioning. However, it also suggests the piece may be difficult for one person to move alone. Consider this weight if you plan to rearrange your furniture often or need to navigate tight staircases during delivery.

Design and build details

According to the listing, the Linsy HOME 172 uses corduroy upholstery. This material is soft and breathable, adding texture to your living room. The green finish provides a modern look that is easy to clean. You get a durable surface for daily use without complex maintenance routines.

The sofa measures 173 inches wide and 34.6 inches high. It weighs 100 pounds, which makes it heavy but stable. The depth is 60.6 inches, offering deep seating. You have ample room to stretch out. The modular design includes a movable ottoman. You can arrange the pieces into an L-shape, U-shape, or separate sections. This flexibility lets you adapt the layout to your specific room dimensions.

The unit includes a storage console with USB charging ports. You can keep devices powered and remotes organized in the concealed storage. Cup holders are also available for convenience. The double-layer cushions contain high-density cotton, sponge, and pocket springs. This construction aims to provide cloud-like comfort. Pillow-style armrests add ergonomic support. You can sit, lean, or lie down with full-body support. The design prioritizes function and comfort for modern living spaces.

Setup and everyday use guide

Setting up this modular sectional involves arranging its separate components to fit your room’s layout. The listing describes a movable ottoman that lets you create an armchair, loveseat, L-shape, U-shape, or sofa bed configuration. You can adjust these pieces to suit your space, whether you need a compact setup or a larger seating area for hosting friends. The unit weighs 100 pounds, so moving individual modules may require effort, but the modular design allows for flexible placement without permanent installation.

Daily use is supported by several integrated features. A matching console includes built-in USB charging ports, keeping your devices powered while you relax. This console also offers concealed storage for remotes, magazines, and other small items, helping you maintain an organized living room. Cup holders are included in the design, providing convenient spots for drinks during movie nights or casual gatherings.

The seating itself is designed for all-day comfort. The double-layer cushions are filled with high-density cotton, sponge, and pocket springs, offering cloud-like support. With a deep 24.5-inch seat and pillow-style armrests, you can sit, lean, or lie down with full-body support. The corduroy upholstery is soft and breathable, making it easy to clean and maintain for daily use. Whether you are lounging solo or entertaining guests, the ergonomic structure and smart storage features ensure convenience and connection in your modern living space.

Before you buy this modular sofa

This 173-inch sectional demands a spacious room. You must verify your floor plan accommodates the full width and depth. The modular design offers flexibility, but you need enough clearance to move the pieces for cleaning or reconfiguration. The green corduroy upholstery requires regular vacuuming to maintain its texture. You should also check if your home’s electrical outlets are near the intended console location, as the built-in USB ports require access to power. This sofa includes a storage console, so ensure you have space for remotes and devices. It fits well alongside other large sectionals in our 1 picks if you prioritize customizable layouts. However, its substantial footprint means it may overwhelm smaller living areas. Consider your long-term layout needs. If you plan to rearrange often, the movable ottoman and modular components are key. Just remember that setup involves assembling multiple heavy pieces. The 100-pound weight suggests you might need assistance during initial placement.

Check before you buy

• Measure your room to ensure 173 inches of wall space.
• Check outlet proximity for the console’s USB charging ports.
• Verify floor space for moving modular pieces during cleaning.
• Confirm you have help for lifting the 100-pound unit.
