Who it fits

Key specs explained for this sofa

Width 113 inches

This width defines the total horizontal space the sectional occupies in your room. You need at least 113 inches of clear wall or floor area to fit this piece comfortably. It is wider than standard three-seat sofas, which often measure around 80 to 90 inches. Measure your living room carefully before purchasing to ensure adequate walking space around the unit. This size suits large open-concept areas or spacious family rooms where footprint is less constrained.

Seat depth 29.1 inches

This depth indicates how far the seat cushion extends from the backrest. Most standard sofas offer 20 to 22 inches of depth. At 29.1 inches, this is a deep seat design. You can stretch out your legs or sit cross-legged comfortably. It is ideal for lounging, reading, or napping. If you prefer an upright, formal seating posture, this deep cushion may feel too reclined. Compare this spec with traditional sofas if you prioritize back support over casual lounging.

Cushion thickness 13 inches

The seat cushions are 13 inches thick, which is significantly higher than the typical 5 to 8 inches found in many sectionals. This creates a plush, cloud-like feel that sinks in slightly for comfort. The high-resilience sponge inside helps maintain this shape over time. You will likely find this thickness supportive for longer sitting periods. It adds to the overall height of the seat, which may be easier to stand up from. Check if this height suits your mobility needs compared to lower-profile furniture.

Frame support 440 lbs per seat

The robust frame is rated to support up to 440 pounds per individual seat section. This high weight capacity ensures durability for larger adults or multiple people sitting on one module. It suggests a sturdy internal structure, likely wood or heavy-duty metal, rather than lightweight materials. You can trust this spec for long-term stability. Compare this limit with other models to ensure it meets the needs of your household. Higher ratings often indicate better longevity and resistance to sagging or structural failure.

Design and build details

The Hanherry 113 inch grey modular cloud sofa uses chenille fabric for its upholstery. According to the listing, this material is soft, breathable, and resistant to wear. This finish provides a plush feel while maintaining durability for daily use in living rooms or apartments. The frame is built to support up to 440 lbs per seat, ensuring stability for heavier users or dynamic seating arrangements. The design relies on a sturdy construction to hold the deep seat cushions in place without sagging over time.

Its modular layout allows you to rearrange the independent units to fit various room shapes. The three-seat configuration includes a movable ottoman, giving you flexibility in how you arrange the space. You can place it in a living room, guest room, or basement. The deep seat depth of 29.1 inches and seat width of 35.8 inches create ample room for napping or lounging. The 13-inch thick dual-layer cushions are made from high-resilience sponge that resists deformation. This build quality means the sofa maintains its shape and comfort level even with frequent use. The vacuum-compressed packaging requires you to pat the cushions to restore their original volume after unpacking. This design choice makes shipping more efficient but requires a brief settling period before full comfort is achieved.

Setup and everyday use

Setting up this modular sectional involves handling three separate shipping boxes. The listing notes that cushions arrive vacuum-compressed. You must unpack them and pat the surfaces to help the high-resilience sponge regain its original shape before use. Assembly is designed to be straightforward, with a detailed instruction manual and all necessary tools included in the package. This approach keeps the process manageable without requiring professional help.

Once assembled, the independent unit design allows you to rearrange the components to fit your specific room layout. You can place the pieces in a living room, guest room, or basement entertainment area. The modular nature supports flexible configurations, making it suitable for various gathering requirements. The deep seat depth of 29.1 inches and width of 35.8 inches per seat provide ample space for relaxation or napping. The three back pillows and two armrest pillows add to the seating comfort.

In daily use, the chenille upholstery offers a soft, breathable surface. The robust frame supports up to 440 lbs per seat, ensuring stability during regular use. The high-quality sponge cushions are noted for resisting deformation over time, which helps maintain the sofa's shape. The included movable ottoman adds extra seating or footrest options. This setup works well in apartments or living rooms where space flexibility is valued. The durable fabric resists wear, supporting long-term daily use without immediate signs of damage.

Before you buy this modular sofa

This three-seat cloud sectional requires significant floor space. You need at least 113 inches of clear wall area to accommodate its width. The deep seat depth of 29.1 inches means you may need to adjust nearby coffee tables to ensure easy access. The modular design allows for flexible rearrangement, but you must verify that your room layout supports independent unit movement. Upholstery care involves regular vacuuming to maintain the chenille fabric’s appearance. Since cushions arrive vacuum-compressed, you must allow time for them to expand after unpacking. This piece suits modern living rooms and apartments where a substantial footprint is acceptable. Compare this option with other sectional sofas on the page if you prefer a smaller footprint or different fabric durability. The sturdy frame supports up to 440 pounds per seat, making it suitable for daily use. Ensure your space can handle the weight and dimensions before finalizing your purchase.

Check before you buy

• Verify you have 113 inches of clear wall space.
• Check if nearby furniture allows access to deep seats.
• Confirm your room layout supports modular unit movement.
• Ensure you can accommodate three separate shipping boxes.
