Who it fits

Key specs for the Cloud 145

Width: 145 inches

This width defines the total linear space the sofa occupies along your wall. At 145 inches, it spans more than twelve feet, requiring a large living room or open-concept area to fit comfortably. You should measure your room’s available wall space before ordering. This dimension ensures ample seating for multiple people but demands careful planning regarding surrounding furniture placement and traffic flow in your home.

Length: 66.9 inches

This measurement indicates the depth of the sectional’s footprint. A depth of nearly 67 inches provides generous legroom and lounging space for reclining. You will have plenty of room to stretch out or place a pillow under your knees. When comparing sectionals, deeper models like this one suit those who prioritize relaxation over compactness, though you must ensure your room allows for this extended projection.

Weight: 317 pounds

The total weight of the five-piece set is 317 pounds. This substantial mass suggests a sturdy, heavy-duty construction using dense materials and solid wood components. You can expect the frame to remain stable during daily use without wobbling. However, moving this unit into your home requires careful planning. You will need strong helpers and a clear path, as the weight makes it difficult to maneuver through narrow hallways or tight corners.

Seating Capacity: 3-Seater

This sectional is designed to comfortably seat three adults. While the overall footprint is large, the seating area is optimized for three people. You will have dedicated space for each person without excessive crowding. This capacity is ideal for couples or small families who want a dedicated lounging spot. If you regularly host larger groups, you might need additional chairs, as this unit is not intended for four or more simultaneous sitters.

Upholstery Material: Chenille

The cover is made from chenille fabric, known for its soft, plush texture and durability. You will enjoy a smooth, comfortable feel against your skin, which enhances the lounging experience. Chenille is generally resistant to pilling and fading, making it suitable for everyday use. When shopping, consider that this material may require gentle cleaning methods to maintain its texture. It offers a cozy aesthetic that fits well in modern or traditional living rooms.

Design and Build Details

According to the listing, the CHITA Cloud 145 uses chenille upholstery and a corner-blocked wooden frame. The frame combines solid wood with kiln-dried engineered wood, reinforced by high-gauge sinuous springs and elastic webbing. This construction supports up to 350 pounds per modular piece. The cushions feature 2.0 high-density foam topped with soft polyester, while the backrest uses high-resilient polyfoam wrapped in polyester fiber. These materials aim to provide a plush, cloud-like feel. The fabric carries OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification, and the foam is CertiPUR-US certified, ensuring safety standards are met without harmful substances. The engineered wood meets EPA TSCA Title VI compliance.

The unit measures 145 inches wide, 66.9 inches long, and 34.6 inches high. It weighs 317 pounds and is configured as an L-shaped, three-seater. The set includes five pieces with a console table and ottoman. Its modular design allows you to rearrange the sections to fit different room layouts. The wide seats and deep cushions are designed for lounging. Reversible cushions and zip-off covers simplify maintenance. The cream chenille finish adds a soft texture to the living room space.

Shipping requires doorways at least 20 inches wide, as the sofa comes in multiple boxes. Assembly is straightforward and needs no extra tools. The console table provides storage, enhancing functionality. This layout suits busy homes where flexibility and durability matter. The substantial footprint demands ample floor space, making it ideal for open-concept areas or large living rooms rather than compact apartments.

Setup And Daily Use Guide

The CHITA Cloud 145 ships in multiple boxes. This modular approach ensures each piece fits through doorways that are at least twenty inches wide. You do not need extra tools to assemble the sofa. The listing describes the process as simple and intuitive, allowing you to set up the unit without professional help. Once assembled, the five-piece configuration creates an L-shaped layout. This design includes a console table and an ottoman, adding storage and versatility to your living space. The modular pieces can be rearranged to suit different room shapes, making it suitable for both small apartments and large family rooms. Each seat is built with a sturdy frame that supports up to 350 pounds. The cushions use high-density foam and polyester fiber for a plush feel. You can maintain the chenille upholstery by removing the zip-off covers. The reversible cushions allow you to rotate them for even wear. The certified materials, including CertiPUR-US foam and OEKO-TEX fabrics, ensure safety for your home. The kiln-dried wood frame provides durability for daily use. You can place this sectional in living rooms or basements. The wide seats and deep cushions offer ample space for lounging. The console tab adds functionality for keeping remotes or drinks within reach. This setup is designed for busy households that need flexible and durable furniture. The cream color option provides a neutral look that fits various decor styles. You can choose from other configurations if this five-piece set does not fit your space. The modular nature allows for easy movement and reconfiguration as your needs change. This sectional is built for long-term comfort and practical everyday use.

Check Your Space And Upkeep Needs

Before you buy the CHITA Cloud 145, consider its substantial footprint. At 145 inches wide, it demands a spacious living room or open-concept area. You must verify that your doorways are at least twenty inches wide to receive the multiple boxes. The modular design allows rearrangement, but you should plan your layout carefully to ensure the L-shape fits your traffic flow. Upholstery is chenille, which feels soft but may require regular vacuuming to maintain its appearance. The unit includes a console table with storage, reducing the need for additional side tables. However, you might still want a coffee table for everyday use. The reversible cushions and zip-off covers simplify cleaning, but you should check if your cleaning products are safe for chenille. This model suits those who prioritize deep seating and modular flexibility over compact arrangements. Compare its weight and dimensions against smaller options if your space is limited. The cloud-like aesthetic pairs well with modern decor, but ensure your existing furniture complements its cream or taupe color options.

Check before you buy

• Measure your room to ensure 145 inches of wall space fits comfortably.
• Verify doorways are at least 20 inches wide for box delivery.
• Plan for regular vacuuming to maintain the chenille upholstery appearance.
